 At 26 September, I officially started the 2022 Season Calendar.

25 May 2021 - Yleisradio announced the new rules for UMK (Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu) and that UMK 2022 will take place in February 2022

22 July 2021 - RTVE confirmed that the Spanish entrant will be chosen via Benidorm Song Fesitval in February 2022

26 August 2021 - SBS confirmed that Eurovision - Australia Decides is back for their National Selection in 2022

3 September 2021 - RÚV confirmed that Songvakeppnin 2022 will take place in February 2022. They also revealed that delegations are allowed to use pre-recorded backing vocals for the second year in a row

7 September 2021 - SVT confirmed that Oscar Zia will host Melodifestivalen 2022

15 September 2021 - Belgium confirmes that Jeremie Makiese will compete for them at ESC 2022

8 September 2021 - RTP confirmed that Festival da Canção will take place in February-March 2022

17 September 2021 - DR confirmed that Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2022 will take place at 5 March hosted by Tina Müller and Martin Brygmann in Yyske Bank Boxen in Herning

8 October 2021 - DATES AND VENUE FOR EUROVISION 2022 IS ANNOUNCED

12 October 2021 - CT confirmed that Czech Republic will choose their entry for 2022 via a National Selection.
