Lyrics:
"When I was young
I never needed anyone
And making love was just for fun
Those days are gone
Livin' alone
I think of all the friends I've known
But when I dial the telephone
Nobody's home
All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself
Anymore
Hard to be sure
Sometimes I feel so insecure
And love so distant and obscure
Remains the cure
All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself
Anymore
All by myself
Don't wanna live
All by myself
Anymore
When I was young
I never needed anyone
And making love was just for fun
Those days are gone
All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself
Anymore
All by myself
Don't wanna live
Oh
Don't wanna live
By myself, by myself
Anymore
By myself
Anymore
Oh
All by myself
Don't wanna live
I never, never, never
Needed anyone"
MY OPINION
Celine Dion is a great artist with a powerful voice. "All By Myself" is one of her most known songs throughout the years. In the song, she is singing "I think of all the friends I've known" and "Don't wanna be all by myself" I think that refers to a bad decision she made when she was younger and lost her friends, and now she wants them to come back and be united again.
If I should rate the lyrics and the melody, and the full song. I would have given the lyrics and melody 9 of 10, because I mean the song should have had more lyrics and less melody, but the song is still amazing. I would have given the full song 10 of 10, her voice, the meaning, the structure, it is just amazing.
